Biography

Tebaese Christopher is a lecturer of Educational Management and Administration in the Faculty of Education of Uganda Martyrs University. He teaches various Bachelors of Education and Masters of Education courses; supervises students at both Bachelors and Masters Dissertation writing and also supervises Bachelors of Education school practice students. He has been engaged in community service in the thematic areas of Leadership, Administration and Management; and Educational Professional Studies for the last six years. He holds a Diploma in Education (Secondary) from the Institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo; Bachelor of Education from Makerere University and Masters of Education Foundations from Makerere University. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Educational Management at Nkumba University and conducting a PhD research that seeks to analyze the impact of occupational stress on the performance of teachers in Mbale City Council. He has mainly handled the Professional Education Studies for the Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education; and among the Bachelors of Education courses handled are: Sociology of Education; Educational Technology; Comparative Education; Education Legal Framework, the Teaching Profession and Professional Code of Conduct for Teachers; Special Needs Education; Foundations of Curriculum Studies; Educational Administration and Leadership; among others. And the Masters of Education courses handled include: Theories and Practice of Educational Administration and Management; Nurturing Policies and Plans for Institutional Effectiveness; Developing People for Institutional Improvement; Effective Management and Leadership of Educational Institutions; among others.
