Abstract
This study was designed to investigate on the role of entrepreneurship traits on the financial performance of the business. The study was guided by the following objectives: To find out the role of creativity on financial performance on the selected business in Masaka Municipality, To find out the role of risk tolerance on financial performance on the selected business in Masaka municipality, To find out the role of need for achievement on financial performance on the selected business in Masaka municipality. The researcher used questionnaires in the collection of data which were purposively distributed. In addition, the data was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS version 16) which was used to run descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentages, mean and standard deviation, Correlation to determine the relationship between the Independent variable and Dependent variable so as to present the quantitative data in form of tables. The findings revealed that Creativity had a strong relationship with Financial performance need for achievement has a strong positive correlation with financial performance whereas Risk Tolerance has a strong positive relationship with Employee performance. Basing on these findings, it was recommended that the entrepreneurs in the selected businesses should carry out thorough research before implementing the new ideas developed hence will be able to invest in profitable ventures.
