Abstract
The study was aimed at assessing the effect of manpower training on employee’s performance in an organization using a case study of Centenary Rural Development Bank”.
The study employed a case study design approach using quantitative and qualitative research paradigm in which a case study research design was employed to collect data from 70 (seventy) respondents using structured questionnaires.
The study found out that Job rotation has improved trainees’ understanding of all activities of the business, employee’s problem solving abilities and it has provided job experiences for those judged to have the potential for added responsibilities and flexible. From the study it was also discovered that coaching has provided employees a way to connect, to be loyal to the company, to expose employee’s weaknesses and strengths and to encourage open communication. Additionally, lectures have enabled employees to get a sense of renewed hope, advanced skills required, professional information and it has facilitated a lot of learning at one clip, with most material compressed into a short period of time.
It was recommended that the management of the bank should focus on empowering its employees. Empowerment is the key to making people efficient because it makes teams happy, and if they're happy, they produce higher-quality work and are more productive, it was also recommended that the management of the bank should also prioritize in implementing the right technologies. In today's world, where workforces are often decentralized, creating powerful communications channels is incredibly vital to individual employee success. Communication should be encouraged within the organization. Most of the employees in a company want to be part of the organization’s future, and want to discover the most important things at work and the way how excellence looks like. However, for a target to be effective and results-driven in motivating employees, it has to be tied to the bigger organizational goals
