Dr. Harriet Sibitenda is a data innovator applying artificial intelligence for societal impact. At the University of Gaston Berger, Senegal, in collaboration with Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA, she developed AI-driven solutions addressing challenges in health, agriculture, and social development across Africa. With a background in data engineering, natural language processing, and social network analysis, Harriet has published peer-reviewed research (IEEE access, Springer and MLA) and created open-source datasets that advance evidence-based decision-making. She has collaborated with universities, research hubs, and civil society networks across Africa and the USA, focusing on transforming unstructured data into actionable insights.
